SCIENTIFIC EPIPHANY

“The mineral blueprint of our blood plasma and cells matches seawater’s composition.”

— From René Quinton’s research

PIONEERING MARINE PHYTOSCIENCE

MEET DAN FRYDA

In 1980, Dan Fryda traveled to Montpellier, home to France’s oldest medical school, to study a compact French device called the Acusonic. It located acupuncture points and delivered a small electrical pulse, offering needle free therapy. French estheticians were already using it for non-surgical facelifts, blending Eastern meridian theory with modern electronics. The commercial promise was clear, but the scientific trail led deeper.

That path took him to Brittany, the center of French thalassotherapy. In seaside spas, fresh seawater and seaweed were used to restore circulation, calm inflammation, and rebuild skin. There Fryda discovered the work of René Quinton. Quinton proved that human blood plasma shares the same mineral profile as seawater from 3.5 million years ago. The insight changed Fryda’s direction permanently.

For four decades, Fryda has translated Quinton’s marine physiology into clinical protocols. His research follows algae from ancient cyanobacteria to modern kelp, tracing how they evolved antioxidant defense, moisture control, and stress adaptation. That same biochemistry now supports skin repair, balanced nutrition, and planetary healing.

ALGAE BIOCHEMISTRY

MAY 24 2025

Marine algae organize minerals into living systems. Iodine reaches 1000 times higher than land vegetables, yet copper and zinc stay balanced through polysaccharide binding. Nutrients work together, not in isolation. This is the entourage effect in action.

Marine diatoms consume 500 million tons of mineral salts yearly, keeping ocean salinity constant. Algae drive cloud formation and absorb carbon. They are Earth’s oldest climate regulators and our newest allies.
